Fete De Lumiere- Lyon, France Each December, the city of Lyon swells with fire and light performances inspired by the appearance of The Mother Mary. During The Great Plague in Europe, the villagers of Lyon prayed to be saved from the dreadful epidemic. Their prayers were answered when the plague miraculously passed by thier city. In present day and in honor of this miracle, candles are placed outside windows. The main "Fete" is held at the L'Hotel de Ville, Dec. 10. BOF performs as part of black light installantion piece. Dec. 9, 2005.
